NAVRATRI CELEBRATION
PUNE
The last quarter of the year is usually filled with festivities where all major festivals of the year fall in. Talent Anywhere ushered in the Q4's season of festivities by celebrating Navratri across all our offices.
The beauty of colored dress brings relief from the monotony of everyday life. Each day of Navratri has its own significance.
In the month of October Talent Anywhere employee's came together to rejoice and dressed in traditional colorful attire. The spirits were high and this added all to the navratri celebrations. It was a memorable event full of color and laughter.
Navratri literally means nine nights; it is a festival spread across 9 days and is celebrated across the country. It celebrates the triumph of good over bad. The dates are determined according to the lunar calendar. On each of the nine nights, it is celebrated by wearing outfits of nine different colors.
Dressed in all festive finery the employee's matched with the nine significant colors of navratri. Everyone ganged up to get their pictures clicked. Our office transformed into a colorful and vibrant assortment of colors and each passing day surpassed the previous one. These photos below say it all!!

DIWALI CELEBRATIONS
Diwali is undoubtedly the biggest festival of India.
Derived from a word conjugation meaning "Row of lights", it is probably the most iconic festival.
Diwali symbolizes victory of 'Light Over Darkness', 'Good Over Evil' and 'Knowledge Over Ignorance'
Diwali generally falls between the months of October and November. In India, people start preparing for Diwali at least a month in advance with revamping the houses and making their long waited big purchases. Entire household, neighbourhood and work places are decked up with light, alike.
It is certainly not a one day affair but a week-long celebration in which each day bringing its own significance. It starts from 'Govardhan Pooja' - a day dedicated to cow worship to 'Dhanteras'- a day of worshipping wealth to 'Bhai Dooj'- dedicated to celebrate the bond of a brother and a sister. The main day of Diwali falls on a new moon night which is celebrated by lighting up the entire household with strings and arrays of light.
We get insights from the epic of Ramayan. This day is celebrated as the day when Lord Ram returned to Ayodhya (his home town) after a period of 14 years of exile after defeating Ravan, King of Lanka. Legend has that people of Ayodhya lit up the entire city with lamps, to rejoice and celebrate the return of the righteous heir to the throne.
Diwali is not only celebrated in India but is now celebrated across the world with great pomp and joy. It is widely celebrated as a festival of Light bringing in positivity, joy and enlightenment in lives. Now a days, we see many public places outside of India, being lit up to mark the festival.
Talent Anywhere, across all locations offices were decorated to mark the festival of Diwali with colored bands and many beautiful decorative items.
There were lanterns hung from the celling and beautiful hand made earthen lamps were lit at the entrance.
To further celebrate the day we organized "Traditional Day" as the final celebration. All our employee's participated with full enthusiasm and put their best foot forward by donning the traditional attires!
To add more to the celebration, all employee's received gifts for Diwali along with personalized greeting card from Talent Anywhere's side. We have captured all the beautiful moments in our camera.
Diwali celebration @Vadodara
We at Talent Anywhere shared this festival of joy by celebrating Traditional day which was in month of November. Team members across the floor participated with enthusiasm. We also gifted fruit infuser bottle as Diwali gift to all our employees. The best part about using a Fruit Infuser (bottle) is that the fruit can be reused many times before the flavour starts to dissipate; making it a very good way to get great tasting flavoured water.
Diwali is the most spectacular festival of India, which is celebrated through the varied cultures of the country with vigour and enthusiasm. Autumn marks the arrival of this festival and the preparation for the same begins much in advance with people decorating their houses and exchanging gifts. Also known as the festival of

With the onset of December comes the numerous activities that bring in the Christmas spirit. Our teams are no less when it comes to celebration of Christmas.
Christmas celebration @PUNE
Most of our teams celebrated, by arranging the customary activity of the holiday season- Secret Santa within the teams. It is an activity where colleagues exchange Christmas presents anonymously i.e. each member is assigned another member for whom they should bring a small gift. All team members received their respective gifts and further more each one had to guess who their Secret Santa was. Some were successful while others were not even close. It was a fun filled day indeed.
We also had a Christmas tree put up in the office where all the employee's were invited to decorate it one by one. Everyone enjoyed decorating the tree that day. Photos at the end of say it all!

On the eve of Christmas we had put up the Christmas tree and wrapped it in lights and decorated it with Santa, rudolph, wreath, gift box, candy sticks, stars and many more special ornaments. We could also see the snow which had managed to make its place on the tree and charm it.
The office was also beautified with streamers and Santa Claus cut outs wishing all the employee's "Merry Christmas" The Secret Santa gift exchange is a great way to embrace the giving spirit of the holiday season without naming yourself as the gifter. We celebrated Secret Santa on 21st December along with cubical decoration on Christmas theme. We had four groups who participated for cubical decoration.

Introduction
In 2017, Talent Anywhere started new program to train "Graduates". These graduates, short-listed by Talent Anywhere were hand-picked from recent batches that passed out of college. Finally, 7 graduates of the group were short-listed and offered. They all joined mid of the year at our Bangalore office. This was Talent Anywhere's first pilot batch. The batch was trained on niche skills and the batch performed well during the 6 months of training period.
Based on success of the pilot batch, Talent Anywhere initiated a similar program at Pune in 2018. This program was designed to give an opportunity to fresh graduates, train them on niche skills and make them ready for a project driven environment. With this view, Talent Anywhere On -boarded 17 fresh graduates at Pune in the month of July 2018.
In this program, emphasis was given on the understanding of the company, the business, developing commercial awareness and deep understanding of company values.
Topics covered during this program
During the initial training months, Talent Anywhere team not only imparted technical training but also conducted multiple sessions on professional etiquettes and corporate culture. These sessions were conducted each friday and went on for one hour. The trainings were conducted by team members from the people operations team. This initiative provided a good balance to the graduate batch where technical and non-technical aspects both were covered in detail. The team quickly adapted the learning aspect and results were visible in everyone within a few weeks of training sessions.
The main objective of these 'Friday Sessions' was to build a team who are not only technically skilled but also are confident and understand different approaches and practices followed in the corporate world.
The sessions included training using audio-visuals, power point presentation, practical activities, brain storming sessions and discussions.
At the end of the each training formal feedback was collected from all participants. We received a positive and encouraging feedback from all participants. The trainers (Technical and Nontechnical), also received a positive feedback.
At the end of 6 months of training, the entire batch was now ready and confident to take on challenging work and embark on global career with Talent Anywhere.
